Pondering intelligence, where 100 is the mid point, the number of registered voters that participate, and societies that seem to want a paternal ruler, I wonder.
Corporations create hype to generate investors; self-driving cars have yet to meet the tort lawyers. The reality of social agitation from climate change and water, not enough, or too much are some where on this ultra AI timeline….
Maybe the ultra intelligence will create robots that become Evangelicals and leave secular man to take over Space, as in “The Night Sessions”, by Ken Macleod.
Jeez Rollie and I was really starting to like your observations/writings.

Keep our brains working Rollie. Thanks
Bruce Sterling is right. The AI alarmists can never define "intelligence". Intelligence is rare enough in human beings, especially in the SF Bay Area.
Humanity is always only 40 years from extinction. No babies, no future.
